I have two old hershey candybars still in the wrappers and in perfect shape. I got these years ago from a individual who got them from the back of his airplane after it had an accident somewhere in Alaska
Do know if there are people who would be interested in something like that.

What was the name of the vanilla wafer bar covered in chocolate during the 1940's? I would love to see a picture of the wrapper.

Why couldn't you change the name? I have been looking for this candy bar for years. It was my all time favorite. I bet it would be a huge hit if you brought it back. It would be worth the cost of the equipment you would need to purchase to make it again !!!

Nothing like finding out yourself. I wrote the company that bought the maker of the sevenup bar, alas the news is not good:

Thank you for inquiring about the 7-Up candy bar which Pearson’s produced many years ago.

Due to decreasing sales Pearson Candy Company ceased to manufacture the 7-Up candy bar in the late 1970's. We no longer possess the equipment necessary to manufacture this item. Additionally, the 7-Up name was returned for exclusive use by the bottling company. It is for these reasons that Pearson’s has no plans to produce the 7-Up candy bar again.

*sigh*

Ahh, thank you so much for the Seven Up tip. I was trying so desperately to remember the name. On the rare occasion I found myself in possession of some cold hard cash as a kid, I would buy this to get the most taste for my coin. This would have been around the middle to late seventies. Does anyone know what happened to the company that produced this?
