Expanding once again on the Hershey’s Kiss line, Hershey’s has announced yet another Kiss variation – Hershey’s Kissables.
Hershey’s Kissables are miniature candy-coated versions of one of the world’s most recognizable brands. These colorful, fun-able candies, blue, red, yellow, green, and orange, come in convenient, single-serve packaging.
Looks like Hershey’s is trying to cash in on some of the megabucks the M&Ms franchise pulls in each year. According to the website, Kissables are available in a 1.5 oz pouch, a 10.5 oz bag, a 14 oz bag, and a 48 oz bag.
Additionally, Hershey’s is looking to get the Kissables name out to NASCAR fans by sponsoring the season opening 2006 NASCAR Busch Series – the Hershey’s Kissables 300. The race will feature a specially painted Hershey’s Kissables Chevrolet fielded by Richard Childress Racing and driven by Kevin Harvick (which means nothing to me since I wouldn’t watch NASCAR if you paid me to).
UPDATE: I finally found some Kissables and wrote up a review.
