Nirvana Candy Contains Drugs

Nirvana

According to KVUE in Austin, Texas:

The Colony police stumbled across a not so sweet find. They confiscated 22 chocolate bars laced with drugs in the 4600 block of Ridgepointe Drive. Authorities said the chocolate bars contained dried mushrooms, hash and marijuana. The bars are called Nirvana and have a street value of more than $4,000. Two 19-year-olds face numerous charges including possesion of a controlled substance. Investigators said the candy looked like normal candy bars.

Now listen up kids…..if someone offers you a $4,000 candy bar, just say NO! You do NOT want to find any Nirvana in your trick-or-treat bags this year. This is taking Candy Addiction to a new level.

$200 a piece for adulterated chocolate?

No way the street value of the drugs contained in each bar even came CLOSE to approching $200!

I think the aggregate value of ALL the candy bars confiscated or whatever is what *might* equal $4000 but thats also in cop dollars so whatever…

Drug prices in the US must be fairly steep with quoted values this high!!! At this time of year, halucinogenic mushrooms are VERY inexpensive across Canada (less than 100cdn per oz). Chocolate is also a fairly common vehicle for ingesting them.

    pizz says:

a little birdy says these actually run about US$60-70 per bar and a standard dose is 2 pieces of the chocolate…

thus the US$25 per piece price and the $140/bar price that nbc5i lists are quite inaccurate

Yea Pizz is right. There is no way those things were worth $4000. What a bunch of police hype.
