My wife picked up a 100ct bag of Nick Candy Fun mix for my daughter to take to her halloween party at preschool, so being the Candy Addict that I am, I figured I’d snag some and check them out. Here is what I found…..
Sour Buddies: a 2-pack of good-sized sour gummi candies in the shape of characters from Spngebob and Fairly odd parents. They look like Sour Patch Kids but they are much chewier. They are not bad, but not great.
Gummy Krabby Patties: they are super-cute and look like mini burgers. The top bun even has fake sesame seeds. The pickle looks so real – it’s a nice transluscent green. These Patties are very chewy and the taste is not too sweet at all, slightly fruity. Each layer had a different flavor (I think), but none of the flavors were very tasty.
Sour Gummy Krabby Patties: These look just like the regular ones only each piece of the burger is coated in that sour sugar stuff. These tasted much better than the non-sour ones, but not as good as Sour Patch Kids.
Magic Fairy Wands: These are small tubes of sweet and sour sugar dust (like Pixy Stix). The candy is a little denser/wetter than than Pixy Stix but tastes pretty good.
Gum: The gum comes in a few different flavors (grape, sour apple) and includes a sticker in each one. The gum looks just like the old rectangular Bazooka Bubble Gum – remember those? The flavor was quite tasty and reminded me a lot of Bazooka (it’s probably made by the same company).
Overall, I was thoroughly disappointed in the taste of the Candies in the nick Candy Fun Mix. I had high hopes for it because I like the genres of candy it represented, but none of the candies stood out as being great.
Do you have a package of only Spongebob candy? I am having a Spongebob theme party and I am interested in a package?
thanks
Isela Williams
RESPONSE: I’m not exactly sure what you are asking. I don’t sell candy, I just write about candy.

I am so addicted to the Odd Parents Candy fairy wands!!!! I need to buy a case of them. Any idea where I can get them?
RESPONSE: They are probably only around for Halloween so you will probably have to wait til then :( (assuming they keep making them)

June 1st, 2006 at 2:28 pmI really like the regular Krabby Patties, I only have one problem, and that is; sometimes they hurt my teeth, I never have a problem with gummy candy doing that, and I assume it’s just the Krabbies that do it.
