My mother-in-law made something similar, but she made divinity in place of the powdered sugar/butter mixture. This sounds much easier. I’m going to make some for my husband who has been wishing for his mom’s peanut butter candy.

I use to make this with my mom when I was a kid. thanks so much for posting this recipe.I have special memories when we use to make this receipe. I could remember the ingredients though. Again thanks so much.

I have fond memories of making this candy with my mom when I was a kid. We always used milk instead of the butter though. It still came out great. You have to have Jif peanut butter for it to be really good though. I hate it when people try to sneak Peter Pan, Skippy, or something generic in there.

i remenber my grandma making those as a kid but she rolled hers in flaked cocconut and it was good

My mom always colored the powdered sugar mixture in batches of red and green. Very festive. Thank you for posting this. I had lost the receipe!

Try using the reese’s peanut butter they have out. Makes them even better.
